The Eutiner Seebühne is idyllically situated on the Great Lake Eutin and nestled in the picturesque castle gardens of Eutin Castle. This special stage in the old English landscape garden was established back in 1951 and has since become a popular meeting place for culture enthusiasts. Since 2014, the Seebühne has also been part of the SHMF venues and attracts visitors from all over the region. In 2024, the Seebühne was enriched with a spectacular new addition: a new, modern grandstand that presents itself as a true architectural gem. It offers space for almost 2,000 people and provides a unique open-air experience. The large semi-circular concrete staircase towers over the water, creating an impressive backdrop that adds to the ambience. A highlight is the 135-metre-long wooden walkway that floats beneath the grandstand and reflects Lake Eutin in all its splendour. Not only are there modern toilets and a small catering facility here, but also the "Beltwalk" - a circular path that leads over the highest point of the grandstand and offers a breathtaking view of the lake and the stage. The Seebühne Eutin combines music, nature and architecture in a marvellous way. With the new grandstand and the other innovative facilities, in 2025 it will be more than ever a very special place where culture and nature come together in perfect harmony.
